All during Riverbend, performers have been taking the UNUM stage. On Thursday we were blessed with UNUM taking center stage at the Habitat House. We had 18 staff members from the UF Finance Department at Unum. We have worked our way down to the finishing off tasks of homebuilding. Although these are seemingly small tasks in the scheme of building a home, they are the most visible. Caulking around doors and windows needed to be done, trim taped off then primed and painted, interior doors hung and balanced and touch up painting. Our UNUM group accomplished all that and more. They worked hard on getting surplus materials moved and ready to load to bring back for use on another Habitat house. They cleaned out our POD and had supplies and tools loaded to be brought back as well. Beyond that, they encouraged us with their great attitudes and willing hands. Every time we turned around a UNUM staff member was right there asking what they could do next. Many, many thanks to UNUM for lending us such great workers for the afternoon and for being a big hit on our stage!
