The construction site is NOT the only place volunteers can lend a helping hand! At Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, there are over 50 ways you can volunteer!
There are so many ways to get involved here at Habitat. If you have one hour a month, or one hour week, or a few hours every week, we would love to work with you.
Below are some current volunteer needs that we have. If you feel like you can to help us
out in one of these areas, then please let us know!
ONE HOUR A MONTH:
- Partner Family Support Member – Mentor & Educate Partner Families
- Event Planning Crew – Assist with Logistics & Day of Activities
- Young Professionals Team – Connect Young Professionals to Habitat
- Numerous Committees – Help out behind the scenes!
- Marketing & Events Committee – Event Coordinator
- Volunteer Committee – Youth United Coordinator & Young Professionals Coordinator
- Family Services Committee – Family Advocate
- ReStore Events & Programs Committee – Annual donation Drive Coordination, Contract Donation Recruit, or Design Workshop Coordinator
- Annual Fund Sponsorship Committee (NEW) Marketing Chair Person, Church Relations Chair Person, Corporations Relationship Chair Person, and Individual Relationships Chair Person
ONE HOUR A WEEK:
- Construction 101 Instructor – Teach Basic Construction Skills & Safety
- Appreciation Coordinator – Thank All Those Who Help Habitat
- Youth United Supporter – Engage Youth in Habitat’s Mission
FEW HOURS EVERY WEEK:
- ReStore Donation Truck Assistant – Aid in Collecting Community Donations
- ReStore Associate – Process Donations & Help Customers with Purchases
- Construction Crew Leader – Lead Small Groups on Construction Tasks
